"42" and "70" are the latitude and longitude coordinates of Scituate, Massachusetts. This small seaside town is the home of our founder, a lifelong explorer and outdoorsman.
Our team
42SEVENTY is led by founder Jake Shillue. Jake grew up on the ocean and has spent his whole life among the mountains. Forever a lover of nature, 42SEVENTY was a way for Jake to remain close to his hometown when he moved to Seattle in 2018.
